URGENT! Opportunities to Learn More about the Elementary School Building Project (It's not just Wildwood!)

Will Fort River Elementary School still be here in five years?

Have you been paying attention to the Wildwood School Building Project

The name is a bit confusing ... in reality this is an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT that will likely affect all elementary students in Amherst in some capacity.

Please join us for an opportunity to talk about this important issue during the upcoming Fort River PGO Coffee with the Principal on Friday, October 16th at 9 am in the Cafeteria. Special guests Michael Morris, Assistant Superintendent of Amherst Schools, and Katherine Appy, Chair of the Amherst School Committee, will provide an overview and answer questions. Fort River has parent and staff representatives on the district committee involved in this work.

Infants and young children are ALWAYS welcome at PGO events, including monthly Coffees. The PGO will usually have a featured speaker or presentation followed by a brief business meeting.
