Thank you to our Family Fun Fair and Costume Shop Volunteers!

Thanks so much to everyone who attended the Family Fun Fair last week. There was a wonderful turnout and the 6th graders appreciate all of the support!

The PGO and 6th grade team would like to give a special shout out to Pam R and Liz L for coordinating the evening, and to all of the volunteers who staffed tables and/or donated food items. It was a terrific community building event!

Finally, the first ever Free Halloween Costume Store was a huge success! Thank you to Deb L for the fabulous idea, enormous effort, and enthusiasm to bring this new event to our community! Thanks to all the shoppers and those who donated ... there were some seriously cute costumed little ones walking around at the Family Fun Fair! It is sure to become annual tradition! Thanks to all who contributed costumes and shopped for new ones!

Free Halloween Costume Store at the Family Fun Fair on September 27

The PGO is excited to offer a selection of FREE gently-used costumes available during the 6th grade Family Fun Fair.

If you wish to donate to the costume store, please either bring your gently-used costumes to the Family Fun Fair, or make prior arrangements with Deb Leonard (dleeleonard@gmail.com, 413-320-1216). 

Fort River Family Fun Fair on September 27 at 5:30pm hosted by 6th Grade

Save the Date!

Please join the Fort River community in celebrating the start of the new school year at the Fort River Family Fun Fair hosted by 6th Grade. The event will be held on the Fort River playground on Wednesday, September 27 beginning at 5:30pm. 

Food will be available. Our 6th grade students will be selling pizza, drinks, and dessert and have also organized fun games for younger students. All proceeds will help to support their activities throughout the year. 

We are asking all 6th grade families to bring a food contribution. In addition, we also need parent volunteers for help on the night of the fair. Help is needed for set up, clean up, and general supervision of the games. Parents are also needed to supervise the students while they are serving food. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Please bring a dessert for the Bake Sale.  Desserts should be nut free and please attach an ingredient list if possible.

FORT RIVER PGO Welcome Back Potluck & ​​Family Fun Fair on Wednesday, 9/21 at 5:30pm

 

Please join the Fort River community in celebrating the start of the new school year at the Fort River Welcome Back Potluck & 6th Grade Family Fun Fair. The potluck starts at 5:30pm on Wednesday, September 21 (which is also an early release day.) The rain date is September 22. The event will be held on the Fort River playground.

In addition to the potluck, our 6th grade students will be selling pizza, drinks and dessert as well as organize fun games. All proceeds will help to support their activities throughout the year. 

We are asking all 6th grade families to bring a contribution for the dessert table. (These items can be home made.)  There will also be pizza and beverages provided for the students to sell. Click here to access the letter that was sent to 6th grade families.
