Book Fair FUNdraising Wrap-Up and Thank You!

Our Barnes & Noble Book Fair was held last Saturday and was incredibly successful and fun! We wrapped many gifts for eager shoppers and received $60 in donations at our volunteer wrap station. Several shoppers purchased books for the classrooms from wish lists that our teachers had created. We will also receive more than $500 from Barnes & Noble as a portion of sales - mentioning "Fort River" at checkout prompted the cashiers to credit that shopper's sale towards our fundraiser!

Our online Book Fair ID is 11990926. If you missed our community event on Saturday it's not too late to help Fort River with your book purchases from Barnes & Noble. Simply choose your items online at bn.com/bookfairs and on the payment page enter the our Book Fair ID 11990926 under the "Memberships, Gift Cards & Coupons" section (bottom left) - valid through 12/8. Since it is the holiday shopping season, we have a fabulous opportunity to raise some much needed money for our school and teachers.  The key is getting the customers at the store to mention Fort River at check out. There is NO COST to shoppers; B&N simply credits Fort River every time our school is mentioned at checkout. It's free money for our school!

On Saturday December 3rd, just by mentioning Fort River PGO at check out, a percentage of each purchase will be donated to our school. We also will be hosting the gift wrap table, a fun holiday activity. The service is free but customers are welcome to make donations in support of our school.

Crocker Farm Book Sale at Barnes and Noble on November 12

Crocker farm PGO is hosting their Barnes & Noble Book Fair on November 12. They will have book readings with author Cammie McGovern and with author team Corrine Demas and Artemis Roehrig, performances by Miss Leticia and her students, and a performance by Amherst Ballet. 

Mention Crocker Farm at check out and a portion of your purchase will be donated to their PGO. Fort River will host a similar event on December 3. Support education and literacy while enjoying these fairs!

Barnes & Noble Book Fair in Hadley and ONLINE through Thursday, December 10th

THANK YOU TO everyone who visited the Fort River Book Fair on Saturday at the Barnes & Noble store in Hadley!!!! We had an awesome turnout, and the entertainment was fantastic!

Did you miss it?  You can still support the school and our classrooms by using our book fair code either on line or at the store until this THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10TH.  

There are a number of books from our teacher wish lists that are still available. Some can be found in the store and most are on line.  

Remember to use our Book Fair Code #11609500 when checking out.  You can also bring a copy of the voucher to use at checkout in the store or simply mention that your are shopping to support Fort River.

Crocker Farm PGO Bookfair at Hadley Barnes & Noble - Saturday, November 7th

Crocker Farm PGO is hosting a book fair this Saturday, November 7 at the Hadley Barnes & Noble. The Fort River PGO will host a similar book fair next month on Saturday, December 5. These are great opportunities to shop and support our Amherst elementary schools!
