Treasurer Tim Cahill's Financial Education Department has teamed up
with Liberty Bay Credit Union and WBZ-FM 98.5 "The Sports Hub," for the
"Saving For Your Future" Contest.
Students in grades K-12 are
encouraged to complete an essay about the importance of saving for
higher education. Each week during the regular season three winning
essays will be selected!
One Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from the
finalists and will receive a scholarship based on the amount of Boston
hockey saves for the 2010 season and a special guest appearance at the
grand prize winner’s school by Boston goalie Tim Thomas. Contest ends
April 12th.
