4th Grade Family Dance Night on Thursday, March 10
The 4th Grade Family Dance Night was rescheduled for Thursday, March 10.
Coffee Cake Fundraiser! Place your orders by March 21!
Glazed coffee cake cakes are moist and delicious with just a drizzle of white frosting on top and a swirl of cinnamon and chocolate on the inside. Yum!!

All coffee cakes are $12. Regular and gluten free available.
Turn in your order forms to the Fort River office by Monday, March 21. Please include payment with your order form; checks can be made out to "Fort River PGO"

Thursday, March 24th after school until 5 PM or
Friday, March 25 after school until 6 PM

Sixth Grade Parent Meeting March 10 at 7 PM
There will be a 6th grade parent meeting on Thursday, March 10, at 7pm in the Fort River library. Please make an effort to attend this important meeting. There are lots of fun opportunities to get involved in planning 6th grade celebrations for your student(s), and many hands make light work and lasting friendships.

Family Math and Pi Night - Monday, March 14, 6 - 7:30pm
Come to Fort River for a night of fun and math learning!
Free pizza to families attending, and kids will receive "play and take" math games.
The famous 5th grade pie auction will take place, come and bid on a yummy pie to take home AND help the 5th grade field trips this spring!
Bus transportation available for the event (see below)

ARHS Informational Meetings for 8th Grade Families on March 9
On Wednesday, March 9th, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the High School auditorium, we will hold a meeting for all rising 9th grade families. We invite you to learn more about our programs and curriculum and to ask questions about course offerings for next year.
In order to support students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in their transition from the middle school to the high school, we will also hold a one-hour orientation program for families to learn more about special education at ARHS. This program will take place on Wednesday, March 9th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the high school library. We encourage all parents and guardians of students with IEPs to attend.
Nominations Sought for 2016-2017 ARPS Community-Building Award
The annual ARPS Community-Building Award honors two Amherst, Pelham or Amherst-Pelham Regional School District employees who "have helped to foster a sense of belonging among students and have helped to build bridges of understanding and acceptance among them."
Awardees for the 2015-2016 school year were George Graiff, Pelham Custodian, and Kimberly Stender, Community Liaison.
Nominations for 2016-2017 will be accepted at any time until June 30, 2016. More information about the award criteria is available here and nomination forms are available here.
