Successful VFW Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Victor Nunez Ortiz and the Amherst VFW hosted a pancake breakfast benefit on March 25, 2017 as a fundraiser for the Amherst schools snack programs. The three hour breakfast raised $600. The money will be shared equally across the five Amherst public schools, with $120 going to each school. Thanks to Victor, the VFW, and all of the families who came out to enjoy a delicious breakfast.

SAFE Pancake Breakfast on October 16 at North Amherst Fire Station

The Amherst Fire Department is holding a Pancake Breakfast at the North Fire Station, 603 East Pleasant Street (next to the UMass Police Station), Sunday October 16th, 2016 7:30am to 11:30am, to benefit the SAFE (Student Awareness of Fire Education) program in our elementary schools. 

Breakfast cooked by the firefighters includes pancakes w/maple syrup, sausages, juice and coffee. There will also be a raffle for donated items. Suggested donation for breakfast of $7 adult and $4 for children. 

This is an awesome family event! The SAFE program is offered to all 4th graders and is a fabulous partnership between our schools and fire safety professionals. The breakfast gives families a chance to see where our firefighters work and to get up close with their equipment and vehicles. The food is super yummy, too, and they have REAL local maple syrup! Mark your calendar now!

25th Annual Puffer’s Pond Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 4

The 25^th Annual Puffer’s Pond Pancake Breakfast will take place on Saturday June 4.  Please join us for multigrain pancakes made from ingredients donated by local farms. There will also be gluten-free pancakes and local sausages! And, as usual, we’ll have real maple syrup, live music, fabulous raffle prizes, and tons of community spirit!

Pumpkin Fun Run & Pancake Breakfast THIS SATURDAY! All welcome

Join us on Saturday, October 31 at 9 AM for the first ever Fort River Pumpkin Fun Run & Pancake Breakfast!

Students can arrive in costumes (practical enough for running) and the 1 mile run/walk will begin at 9:15 AM. A Pancake Breakfast will be served and every child will leave with a small pumpkin!
