First Day Celebration 2012

The first day of school is almost here! Join the Amherst community at the First Day Celebration festivities taking place on Wednesday, August 29, on the Amherst Town Common from 5:30-7pm.

Last year, over 500 people gathered on the Amherst Town Common for a wonderful evening of free activities including police and fire department demonstrations, college athletes and mascots, crafts and musical performances. It's a great way to kick off the school year!
