Early Release on April 4

Wednesday, April 4, is an Early Release Day for all ARPS students. Faculty and staff will spend the time in professional development activities. 

Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:20pm. 

Please disregard previous messages about an early release on March 28, which is a full day. This was an error. We apologize for the confusion.

Early Release on February 28 at 1:20 pm

This Wednesday, February 28, is an Early Release Day for all ARPS students. Faculty and staff will spend the time in professional development activities. This is a makeup session due to a snow day earlier this month.

Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:20pm. 

February Early Release Date Changed to February 28

The February Early Release Day has been rescheduled.  It is now on Wednesday, February 28. Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:20pm.

Early Release on February 7 at 1:20 pm

Next Wednesday, February 7, is an Early Release Day for all ARPS students. Faculty and staff will spend the time in professional development activities. 

Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:20pm. 

Early Release at 1:20 pm on December 13 and December 22

Wednesday, December 13 is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 1:20 pm. 

Winter break will begin with an Early Release Day on Friday, December 22. School will reopen on Tuesday, January 2.

Please check the district website for information about delays and closings in the event of poor weather. Massachusetts public schools are required to provide 180 days of instruction. While the five snow days built into the calendar are typically adequate to cover closures, any days schools must be closed beyond that must be made up per Massachusetts Department of Education regulations. Whenever possible, such days are added to the end of the school year.

Early Release this Week October 18, 19, and 20 - NOTE TIMES

There are several early release dates coming up. Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled during these times.

Wednesday, October 18 at 1:20pm (entire district; ARMS/ARHS released at noon)
Thursday, October 19 at NOON (elementary only)
Friday, October 20 at NOON (elementary only)

Early Release on 12/23 and Winter Break 12/26 - 1/2

This Friday, December 23, is an Early Release Day for all ARPS students. Faculty and staff will spend the time in professional development activities. 

Elementary students will be dismissed at 1:20pm. 

Winter Break is December 26 - January 2. Classes resume on January 3, 2017. Enjoy your break!
