Donations Needed for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon

We need more donations to cover the full cost of the event. Please express your thanks to our amazing staff by making a contribution in their honor.

Checks made out to Fort River PGO can be sent into the Main Office in an envelope or placed in the PGO cash box (ask Suzanne or Karen for location).

6th Grade Car Wash & Bake Sale Success!

Thanks to everyone who joined our 6th Graders on a lovely late April morning for some delicious baked goods or to get their car washed. 

Our student and parent volunteers worked TIRELESSLY ALL MORNING! The 6th Grade team is so appreciative of our generous volunteer families and everyone who came out to support the 6th graders.

We raised over $900 in just three short hours! SIMPLY AMAZING! What a wonderful community!

What better way to thank them than to give a gift in their name to the Amherst Education Foundation? AEF has provided more than $400,000 in grants to our public schools over the last 24 years.

In order for your teacher to receive a star, please make your donation by June 15.

Thanks from 5th Grade!

Thanks so much to everyone who visited the Tag Sale on Sunday! 

The 5th Grade raised $415 towards our end-of-year field trip. All purchases and donations are greatly appreciated! Special thanks to all of the parents and teachers who volunteered to make this fundraiser a big success. 

Talent Show Thanks!

Thanks to all of the volunteers, talented performers, and bakers/donors who helped make this year's Talent Show another successful school event!

Proceeds benefit the 5th and 6th Grade Classes. The Bake Sale raised $286.75 and donations at the door totaled $458.50. The money raised will be divided among the two grades and used for end of year fields trips. 

Thanks to the 5th and 6th grade teachers for instilling a culture of community and facilitating shared fundraising efforts. Students enthusiastically participate in these events and see their efforts pay off. Special thanks to Shilpa Cunniffe for coordinating the Talent Show year after year. 

The final combined 5th and 6th grade fundraiser is the Tag Sale/Car Wash scheduled for Saturday, April 29. Please spread the word - all are welcome!

Hillside Pizza Fundraiser a Tremendous Success for 5th Grade

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 5th Grade Hillside Pizza fundraiser. The 5th grade made $987 in profits AND received an additional $454 in donations. Incredible! 

The generosity of this community allows the 5th Grade trip to Boston to be accessible to all students. Thanks also to Hillside Pizza for being an outstanding community partner who prioritizes non-profit fundraising activities AND delivers a delicious, locally sourced product! 

The annual Staff & Teacher Appreciation Celebration will take place on May 20th.  Please express your thanks to our amazing staff by making a contribution in their honor.

The PGO needs your help to keep this special tradition going.  Please complete the linked form and send your contribution to the office by Friday, May 13.  Thank you!

Every teacher will receive a personalized thank you note from the PGO the day of the celebration.

If your child and family would like a little note to be included with their thank you gift, please send to the PGO mailbox by May 13.

You do not need to participate in the fundraiser to send in a note for any teacher or staff member.
