Classroom Potlucks

Many classes are planning potluck get-togethers to give families the opportunities to get to know each other better.  The 2^nd grade potluck will be held next Thursday, November 3 in the cafeteria, while the 4^th grade potluck will be held next Friday, November 4, also in the cafeteria.  Please contact your room parents for more information.  Bring a dish to share and enjoy the company!

The third grade potluck held this past Wednesday was very well attended, and families generously shared many tasty dishes. Kids and adults had lots of fun catching up, and many thanks go to the third grade classroom parents for organizing such a successful evening!

Keep an eye out for announcements about a potluck for the families in your child's class. Room parents will be making plans to pull this event together for each classroom over the next month. Feel free to offer to help organize with the room parent.

The Second Grade is having their potluck as one big group (instead of separate classes) on Wednesday, October 13, from 5-7pm in the Fort River cafeteria. 

5th Grade Class Event

None of the 5th grade room parents/grade representatives are able to plan a 5th grade event ... So, we are looking for a few good 5th grade parents who want to plan a grade-wide event sometime in the next month! $100 budget, totally open as to what the event is — ice cream party after school one day? Families with a second-grader in Irene Eigner's class will gather for a potluck on Thursday, October 18 in the Fort River Cafeteria from 5:30-7:00pm. All family members are welcome.
