ABC Fall Foliage Walk and 5K Run
It is time once again for the annual ABC Fall Foliage Walk
and 5K Run, on October 12,
2013 ! The 42nd Fall Foliage
event, held on the Amherst 8:30-2 p.m. ,
begins with registration at 8 a.m.
Please mark your calendar! This fun-filled day of family
activities, food and performance by Marilyn and Sekou's 5-College African Dance
and Drum Students, along with the opportunity to walk or run through the local
woodlands enjoying the splendid colors of autumn, promises a day filled with
good company, unity and celebration of Amherst ABC! All proceeds raised
through the event will be put to use this year to run the ABC program. Just as
the New England forests need many different
tree species to produce the dazzling annual display, so our community must embrace
diversity in order to advance peacefully. One meaningful way to do this is by
supporting Amherst ABC.
