It's not too late to sign up for Flag Football! For the past three seasons, the Town of Amherst Leisure Services in
conjunction with Amherst College head coach EJ Mills, Amherst College
Football coaching staff and Amherst Youth Football volunteers have run
an instructional program to teach the game of non-contact flag football
to boys and girls of all abilities in grades 1-6. This program is for
kids who are interested in learning the sport or want to improve their
skills in a fun and interactive environment. The flag football concept
allows children to learn and develop the necessary skills and concepts
in a safe and fun setting with no equipment necessary (cleats
recommended). The coaches will divide kids by similar age and ability
