Wednesday, December 5 from 6-8pm

Fort River PGO will host its annual
Fort River Reads
Book Event & Chili
Supper
Come check out the Scholastic Book Fair with your family and enjoy a community chili supper with a competitive edge!
We need chili makin’ community members to make their favorite recipe and be part of our chili cook-off. Here’s how you participate:
We need chili makin’ community members to make their favorite recipe and be part of our chili cook-off. Here’s how you participate:
• Sign up
and make a pot of your best chili. Sign up info below.
• Bring your
chili in a crock-pot for folks to enjoy and tasters to taste.
Don’t have a crock-pot? No problem, we will
have many and can transfer from your
pot to keep warm.
• Our
“celebrity” tasters will declare a winner and award the grand prize.
• We also
need folks to bring cornbread. See sign up below.
• Or just
bring the family and enjoy some chili ($1/bowl) and a few new books!
We need lots of chili and corn bread makers to have a fun and successful event! Please sign up by contacting Pam Rietkerk at pamrietkerk@gmail.com or call 256-2605. The BEST way to sign up is by going online to the “bring it” sign up sheet. The link will be posted on the Fort River blog!

una cena de chile con la comunidad con una ventaja
competitiva!
Necesitamos
miembros de la comunidad para hacer su receta favorita
y ser parte de nuestra Chili Cook-Off. He aquí cómo participar:
• Firmar y hacer una olla de
su mejor chili. Regístrate información abajo.
• Traiga su chile en un
crock-pote para que la gente disfrutey catadores al gusto.
¿No tienes un crock-pot? No hay problema, vamos a tenermuchos y
pueden transferir desde el bote para mantener el calor.
• Nuestros "celebridades" catadores declarará un ganador yel premio del gran premio.
• También necesitamos gente para traer pan de maíz. Verfirmar a continuación.
• O simplemente traer a la familia y disfrutar de un poco de chile ($ 1/bowl)
y unos pocos libros nuevos!
